Cancellation Policy
Speaking Engagement Policy To ensure a smooth and professional experience for all events, please review the following policies before finalizing your booking with Qwanetta “Q.” Jones / Faith After Fire. 📅 Booking & Payment A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure and reserve the event date. Final payment must be submitted no later than 72 hours before the scheduled event. Services will not be rendered without completed payment. Clients using Klarna, Affirm, Afterpay, or installment payment providers remain responsible for completing all payments through their selected provider. 🔁 Cancellations & Rescheduling All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted no later than 72 hours before the scheduled event date. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event may result in forfeiture of payments made. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. 🚫 No-Shows If the event host fails to appear, cancels the day of the event, or fails to provide appropriate access to the event location or virtual platform, the event will be considered a no-show and all payments made will be forfeited. No-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling. 🗣️ Topic & Program Guidelines All event topics, themes, talking points, and program expectations must be finalized at least two weeks before the event date. Topics or program details may not be substantially changed less than 72 hours before the event. Additional requests outside the agreed-upon program scope may result in additional fees. ✈️ Travel & Logistics (If Applicable) For events outside Baltimore, Maryland, the host agrees to cover applicable travel-related expenses, including: • mileage or transportation costs • lodging accommodations if required • parking or venue-related fees where applicable Virtual events remain subject to the same cancellation and rescheduling policies. 🏛️ Event Host Responsibilities The event host agrees to: • Provide final event details, schedule, and point of contact at least one week before the event • Ensure the venue is safe, accessible, and appropriate for the engagement • Provide agreed-upon audio/visual equipment where applicable • Begin the event at the scheduled time • Communicate any concerns or changes promptly 🤝 Agreement By booking a speaking engagement with Qwanetta “Q.” Jones / Faith After Fire, the client acknowledges and agrees to the policies outlined above.
